  • I suppose one of the last wooden Grews. They began building f/g Slickcraft designed hulls around 66

  • Not to many of thoes still around. Do you have a boat?

  • thats a 1975 model... gorgeous motors

  • thanks. How do you tell?

  • and it says 850 on the top right hand corner on the cowling in bold blue..... that was also only done in 1975... any year merc you wanted to know about from 1970 to 1979 i can tell you how they changed it and how they are slightly different from the rest

  • strange you say only 1975 my grandfather bought a brand new 1974 glassmaster 16 ft with the 74 850 and it was a blueband hmmmm

  • cause im that DAM good lol nah man... every year mercury changed their cowlings slightly.... in 1977 it said mercury in red on the front of the motor, if i would have seen that i would have known it was a 77 right away cause that was the only year they did that.... i have a 75' 110 myself (9.8hp) and its got the exact same style cowling you have mercury in italics followed by a blue border with some silver stripes, on the front it says mercury in whie and marine in red....
