Description: Do you need to be a pilot to be a good scheduler/dispatcher? The most effective schedulers and dispatchers do not have to be aviators, but they all need to have a thorough understanding of basic aircraft performance and limitations so that they can help ensure the safety of their crew and passengers. This session will teach you the basic information you need to understand your aircraft, such as: aerodynamics; control surfaces; take-off, cruise and landing performance and limitations; and aircraft stability (weight and balance).
