  • To Tom T who wrote many, many grat ballads. . .but especially this one

  • to my pit bull tamara who passed just 2 weeks shy of 16 years.

  • Brilliant; wonderful; excellent; thanks for this

  • That is the most beautiful song I've ever heard. Everything he says is true, about dogs, children. I lost my dog about 2 years ago. We were always together, he was my best friend.

  • Nice cat, great song. Why is the boy never patting the dog, but only standing by him with his hands in his pockets?

  • Lady, you were the perfect dog. 1987 - 1999. I still wake up with tears in my eyes dreaming about you. RIP, you're free to chase those birds. :)

  • This song makes me miss my Jake & Lou who are my only grandchildren because my son & daughter-inlaw had dog instead & I miss them as if they were human. Only a dog lover knows how we fill about our pets here & gone. Tess who is a cholocate lab & Winston who is a English Bull Dog are my pride & joy but we will be loosing Tess soon, she has cancer.

  • Absolutly beautiful!! I miss my cocker we had to put down june of 2011. She was 13. Wish I had just one more day with her

  • got a pommie-shitzu 12.5 year's old kindest heart on earth and when she goes will break my heart totally . and listening to this song don't don't help

old dog's care about you even when u make mistakes - never a truer word has been spoken

she will pass and i will get stupifiengly drunk cause her loss will hit me so hard , i know it's coming , dosen't make it ne easier . simple fact that i have to let her go that hurt's

    wish she can live forever

  • My dog Daisy May Wynonna Cooper Buford Clark passed away April 2009. She was a big fat black lab with a heart of gold.
