Irish Builders Construct a Township in Manchester.
A team of Irish builders have stunned the residents of Manchester by constructing a makeshift African township on city centre streets. Niall Mellon Township Trust Volunteers have erected a string of shacks across the city to highlight the urgent need for housing in South Africa. The unusual publicity stunt is part of a recruitment drive by Irish house-building charity, the Niall Mellon Township Trust to recruit 70 Volunteers from Manchester to go on one of the charitie's week long Building Blitzes.
