  • For first time in the history I transfer an image to a biography about the great magister of Temple Order Arnaud of Torroja ( 2 Part)webspace.webring.com/people/or/ramonetriu/trescoronas.html

  • Eventually even academic works are going to fall into the App Store & Amazon Kindle store model of purchasing works. Ease of use will go up and cost will come down which will allow knowledge to reach a larger audience. These published works will be rated, reviewed, and passed on by social networks and PLNs. The published works of quality will rise to the top.

  • I don't think you've understood the principle. The 'book' might bring in the same, or even more income for a publisher from those who want bespoke formats and extra services. Meanwhile the model takes the risk out of the first part of the project which serves scholars better than the current model.

  • Sure, this works if you have enough massive consumer demand that the publishers don't care their revenue just got axed by 69++%!!! Shrug..
