My grandfather got me the original on vhs when i was a kid and it scared me for the longest time, though im not sure why. kids are weird

Its nothing like the book, but I saw it when I was very young and wouldn't have understood the real story anyway.
It scared the crap out of me at that age, and for that reason I'll always be able to watch it and remind myself of those days.
My favourite part was when they were holed up with the French woman, and that old dude noticed the triffid spores. I understood what was happening from the dialogue, and it filled me with dread, wondering how they were going to get out of there.

Yeah, the TV series theme is one of the scariest openings in screen history. Especially with the haunting visuals. This is good music for what it is, though.
