Dr. Rampal:
You completely ommitted the cons of infant circumcision. You left out the risk involved and the range of complications that occur ranging from excessive bleeding, scars, infection, partial and or complete penis amputation and last but not least death. You are far from objective and as a doctor you should be ashamed of your one sidedness on this issue.
Yes circumcision is a personal choice Dr. Rampal-so go and have a clitoral hoodectomy.

...and on the "other side" it is more of the same "reduction" to cut because the father wants to give the son the same? What logic is that and how is the TWO ways to look at it? And she is a doctor? in which science with no brains?
-
whether or not his son should get circumcised is not up to the father!
bull shit! it's up to the owner himself.

Circumcision does NOT prevent STDs...it does NOT prevent UTIs or any other disease. Condoms prevent disease and pregnancy. Please, tell the truth here. I'm so tired of people making false claims to promote circumcision. The decision should be up to the ADULT OWNER OF THE PENIS / BODY. No one else should be removing a healthy, normal, functioning body part.

Parents who want their sons circumcised should go fuck themselves until the insanity passes.

@freedom0speech This comment is right on. She is so consumed with the bullshit of "Circumcision reduces UTIs blah blah blah..." that she forgets to mention what circumcision REALLY reduces. Circumcision reduces human rights. Circumcision reduces penile sensitivity. Circumcision can reduce sexual pleasure for the man and the woman. Circumcision reduces lubrication during sexual activity.

If you want to circumcise him ladies. Just do it.

UCLA posted this? What a complete fail!!!

I think girls should be all cut up.
It prevents all kinds of stuff, and it's my religion.
The 3 MOST IMPORTANT things you need to ask, and learn, BEFORE you can even begin to think about “benefits” are:
=
What is the fuction of the foreskin?
What will he miss out on without a foreskin?
Do you have the RIGHT to remove a part of his body?
=
How many of these things did she address? None.

Interesting(but sadly not surprising) how the father asked for Pros AND Cons and the answerer did not give him any cons. *Sigh
Asking an OBGYN whether or not to cut off part of your son's penis is like asking your local butcher whether or not you should become a vegetarian.
