I gotta be honest i aint even been there since it was rebuilt......im just going on what i see on the tele...
I'm just a bit nostalgic for the old towers, the track around the outside of the pitch, the goalposts with the distinctive net stancions & all that.......now it just looks like any generic, identikit new stadium IMO....

@supahdupahguy81 the old Wembley was more epic but in terms of football the new one is quite a lot better. To have such a large capacity but still maintain a sense of intimacy is a huge engineering feat. I wanted to hate the new Wembley for the same reasons but having been there I had to admit it is superb, just needs the twin towers and some historical events to occur there to recapture the magic...

wow the new wembley is simply beautiful! wish i could see a match there someday, it would have been grand if i could have caught my spurs taking the carling cup a few days ago! while i'm not a fan of england (i'm a yank and YES i support my national squad!) i can only dream that one day US football will have such an elegant place to call home.
