Wow... Good design...what's the wind speed startup?

The startup windspeed is depending to the alternator, if it is cogging or not.

At this windtturbine its around 2m/s.

The Tip Speed Ratio is about 0,8 at idling an around 0,5 at optimun Power point.

Wow, having built a couple of lenz2's myself, I can see how your changes enhance the original design, it all seems to make perfect sense to me. I think you are certainly onto something, I'm strongly considering building one in identical dimensions and same alternator as one of my traditional lenz2's to compare the designs in action.

This is very similar to what I drew up as an improvement to the lenz2 turbine. Looks like it works very well.
