  • @RCKing2231 Almost $1000.

  • how much did this all cost ?

  • @keeton520 Yeah its kind of silly that the conversion is almost as much as the car in the first place. But castle really arent making a lot of money on this deal, the bits are just that expensive to make.

I dont understand making it brushless anyway, yeah its faster but if I get a baja it will be BECAUSE of that fuelie, not in spite of.

  • @3lynmar yea i was talking about the motor

  • this is going to be interesting to watch and see how the end result will be. ive never looked into an electric conversion for the baja 5t just becuz i love the gas motor. mixing the oil and gas is a small chore compared to the awesome sound you get from the exhaust and the power from the engine so seeing what kinda power and sound you get from this will be fun to see

  • @omfgg3tlost obviously your first time seeing a higher end model from hpi baja

  • that bitch is huge!

  • Is that it? Come on fasteddy, what about the afters, and how it looks all done with batteries and does it shift like a stabbed rat!?!?!?

  • @tisoy909 see the brushless system more efficient as in will have twice the life of the gas motor even though those gas motors are very good to and brushless has power instantly wheelies 50mph+ vs the gas as to get up to the power and speed and you only need two 4cell lipo batterys and yes you could make esc an batterys water proof if wanted to but doing so could valid warrenty for run time it depends on battery really cuase i run a hour on one tank but i dont have 800 to convert mine or i would

  • @keeton520 I dont really see the point in less mess as these things are to be wrenched in the dirty anyway. , I know you can probably run atleast a half an hour with a full tank of gas, i dont know how it would compare going electric, more batteries i suppose. Can you take the electric in mud, what if things started getting wet?
