I just wish I had been old enough to know how how music worked back in the 90's.
My house was invaded by the Neo soul artists. Dilla, ATCQ, Sade, D'Angelo, Erykah Badu, all these cats were bein played by my mom but I never thought to look back at who made stuff until I got older.
Long story short, I wholeheartedly agree with HalSamuel.
If only we had known sooner so Dilla could have passed knowing just how much the world would've dug his sound.

It's funny.. I never saw all this love and appreciation for Dilla's music while he was still here. Seems like some people can't appreciate the genius among us until they pass and become legend. I'm not dismissing all the passion people have hear for his music, it's a wonderful thing alive or dead, but please.. don't make the same mistake with others. Support the true artists while they're still with us.
