@PaulDA2000 Apparently they ask him EVERY year and every year he turns them down. One year Shane went to visit him and apparently got close to getting him to accept, but he still said 'no' in the end obviously. I think he's being stubborn, but at least the man sticks to his guns.

@bfnputz - Are you nuts?? Bruno was the absolute best! the reason he's not in the WWE Hall of Fame is because he turned it down. They asked Mr. Sammartino many times to change his mind. He can't stand McMahan and the way wrestling has turned to steroid use and melodrama.

Sammartino was one of the top wrestlers ever. In fact, I would rate him number one, no questions asked. He did not need steriods to make it to the top. He did not want to be in Vinny's Hall of Shame.
