It is a truth universally acknowledged that behind every successful man there must be a successful woman. But a few know that behind every successful woman there must be a dark story of disappointment, loneliness and fail. The story of the most successful woman in our time definitely is no exception. The woman who created Harry Potter is finally speaking herself about her past, her present and her future. It wasn't all splendid while she created the world of the most famous young wizard of all times. But you know what they say, the shell creates the pearl in it's utmost pain...

  • @theenchantedtiara: I'm currently writing a story now, while watching this (that's multitasking) and I create the world, plan it through and just ... let it flow on the word document.

  • @AuratheDark I don't think that the books should be written in a word document... that doesn't give the book a soul. I personally think that books should be written by hand.

  • Wow JK rowling is rly talented. look at those pictures~!

  • I knew it. I'm a writer as well and I know how much meticulous planning, research, and notes I have to take before I am able to write any story. One thing I loved about the Harry Potter books is that I could tell that Rowling planned every bit of it to an extreme degree. She worked really hard and it really shows and you never understand what she went through unless you've tried to write a book yourself.

She's my inspiration. She is amazing.

  • I would love to read her discard chapter now. Would so buy a book with all her scape writing scanned in.

  • someday when J.K passes, the world will go mad, and all those drafts will be become precious collections~ in the future someone must definitely collect them all and display them in a museum, and then it would become another must-go in Britain.

  • @Lillyspurs: No. I write anime style stories with Japanese characters. But i write in script format. But JK is my biggest inspiration (next to Masashi Kishimoto and Tite Kubo)

  • @AuratheDark Good for you:) I write myself, and J.K.Rowling is a BIG inspiration. Are you writing in the same genre as Harry P?

@TheGossipDude; I understand what you mean- but people are different, some prefer handwriting and some must use their computer. I do both- most ideas come when I don't have my laptop at hand- so I carry a lot of notebooks with me;) Of course it all goes into the computer in the end anyway:)

  • Jo, you sooo should publish all the backround info which didn't make it into the books!

  • Harry Potter is SO good, and Rowling is SO talented! My BIG inspiration:):)

  • @theenchantedtiara I second that. So true.
