Partner, you've got quite an imagination! In 1965, my dad filmed us boys with my grandparents at the Rio Grande Gorge using a Kodak 8mm film camera. The Super 8mm were not yet available. Some of the film was grainy and jumped around. When slowed and enhanced, more red and yellows came out. This is because of the film. I would say the age of the film is what caused the red to come out when in actuality this was the wet silica of mud sand in the trench. If you don't believe, so what?
