for every Christian that is right there are probably ten misled, misinformed, or simply ignorant "Christians". its a shame how they have changed the perspective that others have on Christians because of their ignorance. i believe that the pure Christian faith is is still out there doing good in the world.

you know i would have to agree with you there on everything you said. i think the problem here really lies with us. i don't think neither one of us wants to see anyone tormented and persecuted. all peoples should be treated with respect i guess. i can see what you mean about the new age churches. its like a rock concert with some ripped jeaned 20 year old preacher.

Then you're a lot better than many who claim to be Christian. I've met many who are anything but kind and charitable.

and those people are wrong. a disgrace and a perversion from the true walks of faith. its wrong for Christians to attack gays like they do, it is not their place to judge. they should be here to love, they don't have to agree, but they are to love others. any deviation from that doctrine is wrong.

I've never been to a gay pride march, but I'd rather a gathering of gays i suppose. It really depends what church though. Some Christians I really like, and for all my talk and bravado, I would never want to see Christians persecuted. I actually miss going to church. I especially love the old fashioned churches with the fancy stained glass windows and the ones that play old fashioned hymns too. But the new "hipster" rock n' roll churches are nauseating. I can't stand them.

Who persecutes Christians and Muslims the most? Christians and Muslims? They all hate each other. Of all the churches that get destroyed in the Middle East, how many are blown up by atheists? Of all the Mosques that get destroyed in the US, how many are blown up by atheists? Who is doing the persecuting to whom?

So let me get this straight, you want the right to be offensive to gays, but I'm supposed to stay silent and not talk about the atrocities Christians have committed because I'm being offensive? I completely agree that people need to be offended. That's why I'm more than happy to be mean spirited about Christianity. It's an evil religion that needs to be wiped off the face of the planet. I'm saying the exact same thing you are, just about a different group of people.

because they are the only groups that are persecuted day by day and they have tended to me with loving arms even when i had hateful opinions of them as you do. the ones who follow the true path mean no harm. they don't deserve how i used to treat them or how people like you treat them.
