Füssen goes Jazz

Jazzfestival Füssen
Das Jazz Festival in Füssen steht für Rhytmus und Klänge im Sinne von New Orleans und Luis Amstrong.
Mit Maultrommeln, Trompeten und Saxophon verleihen ausgewählte Bands und Künstler, Füssen einen Hauch von Louisiana und machen den Lech für zwei Tage zum Mississippi River.

Unter den Künstler aus verschiedenen Nationen finden sich größen wie Albie Donnelly´s Supercharge, die New Orleans Rhythm Brass Band, der Hot Shot Blues Band und vielen anderen renommierten Musikern wieder. Das besondere am Füssener- Jazzevent ist die Vielfalt der Stilrichtungen, die eine gelungene Mischung aus Dixiland Jazz, New Orleans Jazz, Bebop und Swing ergeben.

Alle Konzerte finden auf Open Air Bühnen am Schrannenplatz statt, um den ganzen einen noch individuelleren Touch zu verleihen.

Selbstverständlich befinden sich rund um dieses Event zahlreiche "Market halls", Stände, die für das leibliche Wohl sorgen. Unsere Gastronomen und die Stadt Füssen freuen sich wie jedes Jahr ein Teil der, ca. 1900 entstanden Musiktradition sein zu können. Wir möchten alle dazu einladen bei dieser visuellen und akustischen Sensation dabei zu sein. Man sollte sich das nicht entgehen lassen.

@sweatysocks2 I played a couple of times as a soloist in the USA. (san Fransisco, New Orleans, New York, Tampa) In 2004 Selena and I went together. We never had the band booked there, alas I might ad.

OK well I think you are very talented. You guys are so amazing. THOUGH it stinks that I live in the states.  Compared to Preservation Hall Jazz, Id put you right up at the top with them. Your that great. Keep up with the music :) Most people woudnt understand this sort of music but I love it. from a fellow musician to another :)
