SpamsDoll, I concur / relate. My absolute 3 favorite new wave songs of the 80s are The Church's "Under The Milky Way", The Smiths' "How Soon Is Now", and Echo & the Bunnymen's "Lips Like Sugar". Maybe in the future there will be a rich, haunting grade of music, but since the 80s, nothing measures up in my psyche.
