This is a short video of Liverpool's Roman Catholic Cathedral. It is the only round shaped Cathedral in Europe. Its is this shape so the congregation are close to the altaras they can be. The artwork in the Cathedral is done buy students in the nearby university. The hung paintings you see are done by a nun who attends the Cathedral on basis. This really is a spectacular building, you do not have to be religious to appreciate its scerenity and beauty.
The only round shaped Cathedral in Europe? Not true. St. Hedwig's Cathedral in Berlin (catholic) is also round shaped. Not to forget Aachen Cathedral (dating from the early 8th century).
