i agree with your list. i am surprized though that you didn't include Beyonce, although i myself haven't bought that one yet. But i am very pleased that you included Michelle Williams, her album really is great!

I have half the albums you stressed on the list, Go by Mario, Unexpected by Michelle Williams and some others. I thought that the latter should've been on the top of your list. Michelle's album from track 1 to thirteen. I thoght it was the best of 2008, but the other artists on your list was off the chain with their latest efforts too.

I am so glad you put Brandy as number one! Her album is truly number one in my eyes. Its relatable and vulnerable and Brandy takes you THERE! She puts you on a whole different level.

People need to go ut and buy this album. Don't just nod your head to the songs, go buy the album!

I really liked ur list. I dont have Mario's album, but I have the rest & i bought them all (except Here I Stand). I also thought that Michelle William's cd was underrated. I happen to really like the title song it fits the whole project. I was happy about that one. I also really loved As I Am, & not just because I'm a big Alicia fan & I also loved LOVED Human. I'm just mad @ how it's getting way less recognition than it deserves. I really agree with ur top 5.

I also bought this Alicia album, and Brandy's. This was the first time I bought both. Brandy has the best album of the year and it is AMAZING. You all have to go out and buy this album because it is FIRE!
