This is a great old coaster. The last time I rode the Blue Streak, I was probably 12 or 13 (24-25 years ago). It scared the hell out of me every time. I always felt like I was going to fly right out of my seat! Fond memories. This and Hell Hole were my favorites at Conneaut Lake Park.

@xtremespeed128 I think this was a NAD (National Amusment Devices) wooden coaster, and that was their "style" i guess. another coaster, "The Rocket" at ocean view park had similar hills

@xtremespeed128 I disagree.
We had a coster similar over here in margate England , was the scenic railway till some one set fire to it:( video is on my channel if you wana see! Don't getting upset though!

@funkster999 - I know...I am in the Save Dreamland Campaign!! It's great Dreamland has just got another £3m to get phase 1 completed of the new heritage park. Shame they have to wait for the Public Inquiry until they can compulsory purchase the land.

Fantastc ride,hope I can afford the flight from the UK in the next few years to ride it all day & into the evening.
Does it run faster with the new track..?

@sparky30368 - I am not sure if it runs faster, but the newer sections of track are much needed and nice and smooth. It's a classic coaster, and will be great when all the restoration work is completed.

It's amazing they got this working again. It's good to see people still care about classics, and refuse to let them die. :)

@Bendyournoodle - I totally agree...it has taken a lot of effort and cash to get the coaster operating again. With the aid of the Pepsi Grant funding I hope that it breathes new life into the coaster and the park itself.
