  • Sometimes, it makes me want to become an arcade technician. I'm already very knowledgeable with home console hardware, so I feel it's time to bring it up a notch and start fixing arcade boards(well, for myself first, as I'm looking for several arcade boards).

  • @HarlemHyena - Some arcades REALLY don't know how to take care of their cabinets. I saw a Daytona USA 8-player linked cabinet in an arcade at Hampton Beach where Player 7's cabinet had some severe graphical errors and in the three times I've been there(within a span of 4 years), the cabinet was NEVER fixed. I believe one of the cabinets there even had an improperly calibrated gas pedal. They even have a G-LOC cab with a broken motion-sensitive seat. That thing was still broken.

  • @Ace9921 Hell if I knew.

And you were talking about a broken stick earlier? One time I ran into broken PEDALS. Needless to say: DNF'd.

That right there shows why arcades are so few and far between: lousy upkeep.

  • @HarlemHyena - >.<

You're never gonna get anywhere with the Automatic transmission in Sega racing games. Why does Musicknower2 insist people use the Automatic transmission when playing Daytona USA?

  • @Ace9921 Trust me, I know you're good. Heck, I'm still practicing drifting w/ a stick.

That comment was aimed at Musicknower2 because he says that on just about every Daytona video, and it's driving me up a wall.

  • @HarlemHyena - I'm a long-time Daytona USA player(played it for well over 6 to 7 years), so I know A) how to get through the tracks and complete a race and B) when to shift gears. Besides, the Hornet is faster with a Manual transmission, so I'll stick with a Manual Hornet unless I'm playing on a Daytona USA cabinet with a broken shifter.

  • @Musicknower2 Apparently YOU'RE the beginner since you keep telling everyone to use Auto.

Whatever happened to "To each his own?"

  • wait a minute, you won the all the races in the game, but after this there is suppose to be a special extra ending

  • @Cazkumali - If I get the original board or if Sega Model 3 emulation becomes as good as Sega Model 2 emulation has become, then yes. Otherwise, no.

  • @Ace9921 One day are you going 2 do a gaming session of Daytona USA 2
