Phun model of ideal gas. Identical particles with no intermolecular forces, undergo perfectly elastic collisions with each other and with the walls of the container (bouncing with no energy loss). One particle colored red for better tracking.

  • This is unrealistic. Between any 2 objects there is always gravity. And also, energy would be lost to the walls in reality.

  • Of course this is not realistic. It is the ideal gas - the simplest physical model of a gas. No gravity, no intermolecular forces. Perfectly elastic walls are needed for conservation of total energy of the system. But in real gasses gravity is insignificat, too. You are right that this is not "ideal" ideal gas, because ideal gas should have particles of zero diameter.

  • @BSOFinland Perhaps because he wanted to find one? Is is too hard to imagine?

  • why in the fuck were you looking for an ideal gay boyfriend??? ....

    ..

    .

    you akward doosh..

  • What the FUCK HAS THIS GOT ANYTHING TO DO WITH "Ideal gay boyfriend" when i type "Ideal gay boyfriend" in the YouTube search section????!!!!!!!!!

  • If a gas had molecules of zero diameter (yes I am implying it would physically exist), It would be impossible to contain wouldn't it!

  • Disregard my comment. Someone already said the same thing ;P
