This is unrealistic. Between any 2 objects there is always gravity. And also, energy would be lost to the walls in reality.

Of course this is not realistic. It is the ideal gas - the simplest physical model of a gas. No gravity, no intermolecular forces. Perfectly elastic walls are needed for conservation of total energy of the system. But in real gasses gravity is insignificat, too. You are right that this is not "ideal" ideal gas, because ideal gas should have particles of zero diameter.
