Pakistani Community Protested against Zulfiqar Mirza in Melbourne, Australia at UK Consulate.

Pakistani community residing in Melbourne, Australia staged a protest against former home minister of Sindh Mr. Zulfiqar Mirza. The protest was in response to his recent statements in which he accused & used immoral words against an ethnic entity in Pakistan. The protest was conducted in front of British consulate in Melbourne urging the British Prime Minister Mr. David Cameron to take notice of these statements, which is causing unrest and resulting in the eruption of violence and killing of innocent people on the streets of Karachi. During the protest, informative flyers were distributed among the civil society of Melbourne. Speaking with the media, the protest organizers briefed them about the negative role of Mr. Zulfiqar Mirza and his destructive ambitions against Urdu speaking community in Pakistan. Later on, a petition was submitted to the British Consular General which was addressed to the British Prime Minister Mr. David Cameron requesting him to take decisive steps and stop Zulfiqar Mirza to spread terror in London & Karachi. The British Consulate officials came to the protesters and assured them to convey the message to the relevant authorities
