70013 'Oliver Cromwell' on the Scarborough Spa Express running along side Black 5 44932 returning light engine to Carnforth. Both left York within minutes of each other with 70013 quickly catching up to the Black 5. The engines then both ran side by side to Church Fenton.

my brother lives in Chruch fenton and says he hears many steam trains passing through in the late night when i was there in July one passed through

As some of you have commented this was a unique experience probably not to be repeated on the mainline for some time. Filming this was not easy….I was sat on the table with my arm out of the window…..unfortunately the door window was occupied. Boo! I was just thankful to be in the second carriage.
I wonder how the people at Church Fenton reacted when they realised….I haven’t seen any footage from Fenton which is a surprise.
