Israeli tennis player Shahar Pe'er became the first Israeli to compete in the Qatar Open tournament in Doha. Defeating Slovenia's Andreja Klepac on Monday, Peer reached the second round in the tournament. Pe'er later told reporters that she had received a warm reception in Doha02/19/08
