The "Ever Wondered Why?" Roadshow visits Stimulating Physics Network Schools that receive support from a Teaching and Learning Coach.
Our roving Roadshow coordinator offers a programme of stimulating, engaging and interactive sessions to two different year groups (KS3, 4 or 5) per visit. Each session can be adapted to meet the needs of each school and will be accompanied by preparation lessons and follow-up activities. Designed to enthuse students about physics and the world around them, the shows work with group sizes of 10--300. They cover a range of topics, from the size of the universe to optical illusions, and low-temperature physics to how CERN works -- all with the aim of persuading pupils that physics is an important and valuable part of what they study at school and beyond.
