Madrid Koala Review

Amazing DH FRESTYLE board. If you are looking for a cheaper Tan Tien this is your winner.

-Dual Kicks are beyond amazing
-7 ply maple and then 2 outer plys bamboo (so 9 plys in all)
-slight convace and camber
-Drop through...Duhhh!
-Says its 38 inches but is actually borderline 37-38 (kicks make for only an approximate measure)
-very light for so many lys due to bamboo
-THIS BOARD IS NOT FLEXIBLE...Imagine a regular skateboard and this is it. Not too flexible but is rather on the stiff side. I like this for better response during freestyle tricks and faster response on carves and slides.

If you want a tan tien and are too poor like me to get one this is your board.

I got my deck at surfsidemailorder.com, search madrid decks and view all of the madrid boards. I highly reccommend the brand and they have great customer service.

Paid $87 for the deck and also received free 3 day shipping and if you search online you can find a 10% coupon that reduces tthe price to 87.

I did this review at like 2am and was kinda tired so don't post stupid immature comments.

Enjoy my review as this board lacks them. If you guys have any questions ask. I want to promote this board because it is amazing. Enjoy :p

  • @Thecoolkids12809 The comparison that I'm making? Because I haven't actually ridden the Koala but it looks a looot less flexy compared to the Makai. Think I'm going with the BC Moray

  • @TheEloubou Cant tell if trolling, or just really stupid.

  • @xLxAcex im 130 and had a makai and am looking at this. whats the comparison?

  • damn i'm around 130 lbs and it won't flex at all? I used to have the Makai and now I'm looking for a flexy one again...

  • i am looking at this board and the landyachtz grom race for down hill what should i get.

  • i'm 15 years old , and i've buy this one . i'ts my first longboard.... i think its a little bit heavy .. :S its hard to do tricks ... it's just me or its a little bit to heavy for me ... i wanna buy a new one but... it cost me 350 i think .... or maybe less but i wanna now if its good for me or i sould buy a new one .. :S ( and sorry for my english if its not perfect.. :S )
