My New Pet Raccoon

My cat started growling last night and I saw this little guy outside my back door. Turns out he loves catfood!
By the way "Pet" was a joke. It is a wild raccoon but pretty friendly.

@cincinnatikate This is probably because it was "in heat" if you will. Once they are sexually mature they do this once a year. You're supposed to keep them away from people during this time period, and pretty much just leave them alone. If you have one with the intention of keeping it as a pet, for male raccoons vets can/do give estrogen injections to the males to keep them from going nutso.
