Me playing Comptine d'un autre été L'après midi by Yann Tiersen (melody from Amelie).

I am not quite happy with it though. Hope to record it again some day, with much better phrasing, rhythm and dynamics.

Thanks! it's nice to hear, especially as I think the performance is mediocre. I failed to keep the rhythm steady - also hammering some notes to hard blows the whole thing up :) I am happy you liked it.

Well you know, it isnt always about making everything perfect. Its how you deliver the emotions, and you do that so beautyfully. How its made perfect i dont know, I only care about how I felt when I heard you play. =)

Of course, one must drive to perfection, I do as well, but I have only played for 4months now, so I dont expect to much yet. =) But perfection is a great motivator =)

Perfection is always a great motivator =) Even better is others' playing driving you to sky because of the beauty and emotion. It's always different from player's and listener's perspective, you know :) I, as almost everyone, have goals set up much higher than I can go in near future - that's why I tend to dislike my own performances ;-)

I know that was such a stupid commment - but it's true! This is such a beautiful song and, although the rhythm was a bit off at some points it was the emotion in the performance that really sold it to me :D LOVE IT - 5 stars and favorite!
