What was in Umar underwear? Was it an explosive powder, plastic block, underwear made of some explosive material? Would dogs have sniffed this out? Saying this was an analytical failure & not an intelligence failure is just stupid. Saying that new detection equipment only makes jihadist smarter, is stupid. The problem is not airport security or poor intelligence, the problem is Islam. Just take a look at the frickin' qu'ran and you'll see that Muslim "extremists" are only true to the words of Muhamad.
Ban Muslims and Muslim-looking people from boarding airplanes and the problem is solved.
When it comes to our security, we should put political correctness aside and just do the right thing.
