New national campaign to promote the Azores destination starts tomorrow.
A campaign promoting the Azores destination starts in all national territory tomorrow, with the broadcasting of several television commercials, the inclusion of advertisements in the national weekly and daily press and of promotional billboards located in various cities of Mainland Portugal.
The promotional campaign that is starting now maintains the slogan Are you ready for the best time of your life? (Pronto para o melhor tempo da sua vida?) is an initiative of the Regional Directorate for the Economy.
Therefore, several television commercials, based on the strategy outlined in the marketing plan for the Autonomous Region of the Azores, were prepared and presented in the beginning of this year, privileging an active contact with Nature in the Archipelago, disseminating activities such as cetacean observation, diving, boat tours, bicycle, paragliding and golf, among others.
In addition to television and press advertisements, advertising panels will be placed in several cities, such as Lisbon, Porto, Braga, Viseu, Guimarães, Amadora, Sintra, Coimbra, Faro, Santarém, Leiria, Covilhã, among others.
Moreover, banners will be placed in the main internet portals. Besides the recently campaign, the Government of the Azores has maintained a plan to promote the Azores among Travel Agencies and tourism operators across the country, whether through actions undertaken at the agencies, whether through various initiatives carried out at the Loja Açores in Lisbon.

Are you ready for the best time of your life? is a campaign integrated in the promotional strategy that has been followed by the Government of the Azores in the national market, the most important market for regional tourism.
