So God kills someone for being fooled? That's barbaric. Anyone can make a mistake. He believed he was obeying God. He didn't deserve that fate.

I'm not sure how to know if God tells you something, or if it's just a thought... because Fred Phelps is absolutely sure that God's telling him to do what he does. And others are absolutely sure that God's told them to do things, while the person they're against is also sure!

I suppose it IS true that you have to do what you know is right. I stand by that, definitely. If you feel it's not right, don't just do it to please someone else.
