Bought this bike as just a frame and a motor and now some five years later it is a running ridding bobber. Purchased almost everything one peice at a time off of ebay. Garage built with motor and tuning help from friends and good local shops. Starts first kick and it's loud as hell. Try to do a video of it running shortly. Love seeing everyone else video's when I was building mine. I know this song sucks balls but I thought it sounded better then my kids babbling in the background. I'll change it out later :)

  • Thanks to all the kind words, I only posted this to encourage others with limited mechanical abilities that you can get to a running bike. It will require the exchange of cases of beer and listening to many a war story but you can get there. :)

  • sweet build. That is one of the best rat builds I have seen. It looks like you spent alot of time thinking about the build and making it your own.

Nice work (I would like to use your bike for some insperation on my next bkie if you dont mind).

  • @Allroy21 Thanks man, I put a lot of time into it, I am still tooling around with the oil leaks but it's fun as hell to tool aroun on. That's the main reason I put pictures of it online. When I was first starting to build it I would watch videos of other for hours and hours. When you get yours done send me a link.

  • kickass bobber! great job on the build!

  • @CochiseCountyChopper Thanks, it's fun as hell to ride. I am a pretty mellow person but my goal was to build a bike that when park someone would assume they would get their asses kicked by touching it.

  • did you fab the pipes yourself? if not where did you find the set? more particularly the left hand pipe?

  • Did not fab the pipes. They are just an old set of slash cut pipes my buddy had laying around. The chrome was chipped and pitted, but I wanted them powder coated with high temp flat black anyway. They pipes cost me nadda, thanks to my friend Doug.
