What kind of comment is that? Do you need to have histrionics to make the music expressive? This particular cellist has a very fine tone and plays convincingly. As a cellist, I know that it is indeed possible to play beautifully and expressively without having to move about. Especially when playing chamber music, moving about and calling attention to yourself is just plain distracting. If you need movement to appreciate the music you listen to, may I suggest MTV?

Maybe some minor flaws, but it's a spirited interpretation and I've enjoyed listening.

the cellist isnt moving at all when you dont move and you just sit still you take away all of the emotion of the music, then it just becomes blah blah blah, So dont just stil sit still move! also i could see a little more movement in the violin as well

Smith is fantastic. Has great timing and feeling. I'm so impressed with this, such a difficult piece to perform, especially for youths!
ABSOLUTELY wonderful job, there is no need for pickyness- and I'm willing to bet, those giving "advice" are merely musical fans and don't actually play an instrument.

i noticed that too but it was very minor, most people wouldnt notice
i suspect they havent been playing togather long and are still feeling the piece out and are still getting used to playing togather
