@baalshin exactly! To truly understand you must study the language, people, time, place, culture, and mindset of whatever tradition you study.
Too many people use a 21st century mindset to try and understand such things and completely miss the point.

This video is really shit. THAT is not the stoic philoyophy, but just what the author of the video would like it to be. I´ve never herd about Zeno's eleven points. It is absolutelly incomplete and biased to a mistical teaching... The real classical stoicism is fully materialist and determinist, two big point that are not said at all... They just take in the video the pinky sween part that everybody, of course, loves...

i just hate the use of loaded words that are almost always misused like nature, god or soul that have a totally different context in greek philosophy than their everyday meaning
