"In The Mood" was the first song that opened my eyes into the world of Jazz. (I played the song in my Jazz ensemble early in school). I never knew how much I would grow to love this genre thereafter. Even though there are plenty of "In The Mood" youtube songs out there, there are not many CD audio Quality versions of recent recordings. Therefore, I have uploaded Glenn Miller Orchestra's "In The Mood" recorded in 1999. The video's story is titled One, Two, Triple Heaven... Read it at musicalstorymaker.blogspot.com .

  • Should be called "I play Glenn Miller while I show somewhat-unfitting pictures"

  • @RawrJenkins. That's because the song is actually the background music to the picture story ; j. So, they are just as related as a movie that plays a GM song in its background. If you look at it closer, you'll see a story... but just in case you dont see it, i'll summarize it. A kid is in school, leaves class and outside, he sees a crowd. He meets a girl that invites him to "lindy hop." He doesnt like to dance, but eventually he gives in to her. After a few tries, he dances like a pro.

  • @matc8298 I love it :)

  • Regardless of my last comment, I do love Glenn Miller!

  • @1summero ... in that case, your taste in good music is exquisite!! ; j. Glenn Miller type of music is almost a genre of its own... so unique... and so special - relating to that era of Jazz.... such a pity that he died young... Who knows what else he could have created.
