Then you probably have a more recent version of XP than what was used in this video. The computer used for this video had no service packs on it.

I use win xp on my mac, virtualbox, and I can't see my video card.. is it because it's virtualized..?
"display adapters" just don't appear in the list..
hope somebody helps me out!!

It may be because it's virtualized, or because you are possibly using a different version of XP. (I was using 2002, no service pack at the time.)
