Abel, the master of rush-down mix-ups!

Abel seems pretty fun to play. I started to pick him up right as the PSN went down (you can see me playing against the plant in the 5 Stages of PSN Loss video. Because PSN was down for so long I got a good long time to play in training mode by myself, getting his 1-frame links down (which I hardly do here in the video - I make no apologies). Around the same time I picked up Vanilla on the PC (desperate at this point), and played a friend with nothing but Abel. Vanilla is a different game than Super but when it comes to Abel it didn't feel like much changed.

Every time I tried to FADC out of my Change of Direction (the three hit move), I messed it up and ended up just squatting in front of a person, doing nothing of interest. This has gotten better, but Abel is a tough character to use - one you have to dedicate your time to, so even now (that AE has come out and I'm playing Cody) I'm not very good with Abel.

But apparently my El Fuerte is slightly better. How depressing is that?

In all I think I hit the plane wing about 12-14 times, I was keeping count but I missed a few times, if you want you can go through and count them when I upload the full matches, because I don't care that much. I must have thrown 3 or 4 rounds trying to break the damn thing however - so I hope that part of the video made at least one person laugh.
