Vintage Doritos - mofilm 2009

Matt and Dan find themselves in a backwoods shanty of a store in dire need of snacks for their camping trip. The only palatable option they can find is a bag of Doritos from 1966.

This was made for the mofilm competition in 2009. The characters are clay and if I have my way, this will be the last time I ever work with it. You might also notice a lot of discrepancies in the image. My video camera decided to break part way into the shoot, causing me to use a digital still cam for the rest of the filming. The digi couldn't focus for close ups properly, so I was forced to be creative and that is how the shaky look appeared in several of the shots. But, at least I am now at a point where I can say that I know how and why all the mistakes I made occurred and once I begin filming with my professional armatures and foam latex puppets, they should never happen again.
