While all presidents of the United States of America routinely commit teason, President Ronald Reagan did so by participating in a coup d'etat against his own administration. His treason consisted in breaking two American laws. When he and his flunkies sold arms to Iran, they violated the law Against trading with the enemy. When they used the money from arms trading with Iran to buy arms for a terrorist organization called the Contras in Nicaragua, Reagan violated the Boland Amendment that prevented arms sales to the Contras. Finally, the planes used to deliver the arms were loaded with drugs for the return flights to airports in America. Drug running has long been a secret subversive method of raising money for America's terrorist activities.

  • Thank you so much for sharing the other side of the story with us. I have heard from Iranian side a lot, its interesting to hear the other side of the story too.

How would you justify the fact that North did fly to Iran (with IRISH passport) to talk to Iranian officials? and just wanted to know whether u are informed that even though Iranians received some shipments from Israelis but they sent some also back after Khomeini realized that the shipments are coming from Israel.

    Regards,

  • Part III

Although I was reading 4 newspapers a day in the 1980's and watched every second of the Congressional hearings on the affair, I never heard of the Iranians sending any weapons back. Regardless, the president and his staff committed treason by violating the Trading with the Enemy Act and the Boland Amendment.

  • My moms uncle is EDWIN meese, not Edward Meese, you claim to know so much and yet this video is tagged as EDWARD Meese, thats like calling oliver north, olivander North or something. Its ridicyulus that you can claim to be so knowledgable, and not even know the name of the acting attorney general.? it seems this is much more just your whackty theories than any substantial proof. Was the Reagan administration selling guns to 'our enemy". Well who decides whom our enemy is if not the President?

  • Anyone watching this video should know that this guy is not very credible. He claims that he watched evry minute blah blah blah. If that is true he probably would have tagged this video as EDWIN Meese, not Edward meese, whom doesnt exist. how can someone so knowlegable make a completley random and critical error about the histoery of this affair?

  • Mr. Hogan, I take issue with you calling the Sandinista government "elected" only in the sense that, initially at least, the Sandinistas took power in 1979 from the US-backed dictator Somoza via armed revolt. Later (1985) elections were held & the Sandinistas were voted into power. Of course, Reagan's minions did everything they could to undermine the progress Sandinist programs engendered.

I'm reading Thomas W. Walker's 'Nicaragua: Living in the Shadow of the Eagle' (Westview Press 2003).

  • Reagan had good reason at least in his mind to put an embargo and back an illegal terroristic war against the Social Programs of the FSLN Sandinista government. You see the non-rigid Marxism of the Sandinistas was actually WORKING and this was extremely scary to Reagan. When you reduce illiteracy, measles, child malnutrician and build schools and playgrounds you show that at least a certain kind of Socialism can work. Had Reagan not put the embargo on , they wouldn"t have needed to cozy to USSR.

  • Hello Shakhir786:

My wife is Chinese and I will do as you suggest.
