@Seattlelite13 yeah we used to have something similar in the aussie rat packs , ham and eggs in a tin , you were supposed to add a little water while cooking it but it always ended up looking like chunky vomit !

@screus69 good question. Maybe the lighting in his room isn't good and he needs to do it outside but also doesn't want to weird out the neighbours or something.
