when mumia was arrested he posessed one gun. a 38-calibur pistol which he purchased because he had been robbed twice as a taxi driver. the bullets which were removed from faulkner belonged to a 44-calibur weapon. this was stated in a preliminary report. the examiner later changed his statements and claimed that the bullet was actually from a 38. somehow, a piece of the bullet was lost and now it cannot be identified. the absence of this critical tests validity imo creates resonable doubt.
