thought the United States are a Federal constitutional presidential republic not a christian republic.

So what has god to do with politics? what god? the christian god? the buddhist gods? allah? hindu, shinto gods? what god?

there are so many religions in the States. and there is only one president who is supposed and who is independent from religion. people need to stop trying to mix poltics with religion. he's there to ensure freedom and promote peace. not to promote religious values.

Freedom & Peace for who? Not the unborn. The country was founded on Christian principles, and the Constitution reflects this; so does the Declaration of Independence -We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable rights, that among these are LIFE, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Laws also reflect Christianity, but Obama doesn't.  All must be up held and respected as it was intended!

A president can believe in any religion as long as he can put aside his religious faith and serve the presidency for the people without making religion a part of his decision making process. I dont hate on religion nor do i practice it, but if you invited me to the temple, church, or mosque...Ill pray with you in respect to your religion.
