Yes" sounds great! Yes'does everything! "BUT", still digital. How does it "FEEEEEEL"???.after a while of playing,does it have the cold sterile "FEEL" of hard plastic tone", or Does it morph into the warm tube fire? Even a cheap 10 watt crate practice amp sounds good when there is a hot shredder at the wheel of an fretboard.If I can find an digital preamp with the warm tube sag and feel then I might convert but? Would a great Tube power amp like VHT make up 4 this? HELP!

@metalguy625 Line6 Spider Valve MkII. Period. What you get: Noise gate, adjustable from completely open "djent-tha-hell-outta-that-gui
tar"-tight. More FX than you'l ever need. Everything in one head, full tube punch. -
I've looking at rack multi effects processors to use as a preamp along with a few other rack units to run through a peavey valve king head as a power amp, would this one or the line 6 rack pod be a better choice? I'm kinda new to the whole rack multi effects area. Been a die hard amp and stomp box user, but as i've been getting older and my tastes are broadening i've found i would like to get more versatility from my rig. I play classical, blues, some jazz, mostly metal and progressive/dijent.

Sounds like Digitech finally did something right again. As much as I hate the nasty amp modeling of today, this unit actually doesn't spit out those nasty peaks like Digitech and Line 6 floor units. SOunds like a homerun.

Could i just use this, a power amp, and a 2X12 and would you think it would sound good
-
btw do you think this processor will sound good with Fender hot rod deluxe and jackson DK2m.Btw can i somehow use the amp distortion +fx to the fx loop and sometimes to use the digitech distortions without use other cables

pinch harmonix sound so helpless but cool :D
Someone likes their Lizzy ;)
I'm after that Digitech unit for use at home when recording my band. Any idea how they are for studio recording?

Well, you are hearing the direct recorded sounds, so thats what you'll get. I've used the "4x12" V30" cab-sim the most. I have a 2nd vid where I've compared that to red wire (sp?) cab sims in Logic . . .

Sounds great!
Are you using a lot of post EQ to shape the tones? or are those just the "amps"?
i have an RP1000 and am trying to get those tones that you have.

@erikm5150
Not really, I do boost 100Hz a bit (2dB) to get more depth though . . .

Thanks Yoeri. I've added a (DIY) looper to switch back and forth between digital and tube now. Just to find the right digital substitute for the tube-juice ;-)
