  • @SoreHead11 LOL yeah i just noticed i said after 180. maybe i meant to put 80.

But yeah it took me a while to figure out what you was talking about i had to go back lol.

But thats the point i was trying to make about engines. But even if the IS350 had twin turbo it would win in a 1/4 mile race but not in a real drag. Those 1 mile street races it would run out of steam and then the V8 would start pulling it back in.

  • @Randomkaoz well that's a serious exageration. Just see the Veyron against a Mercedes SLR. Once the initial take off (0-60 ish) is over with the Veyron just pulls away like the SLR is stopped and the SLR would do the same to the XJ220.

0-60mph is the problem. It's the hardest part of the equation but a well designed car will be under full steam by them with good traction etc.

A twin turbo IS 350 well tuned should be able to beat an ISF but it's tuned. different strokes etc. I prefer factory

  • they forgot to mention the IS-F was on D with sport mode off, full tank of gas and the A/C on.

  • Any modifications to the IS350? if so what are they? ...great video. Love the IS350

  • I loved my IS 350 But I TRADED up to an ISF not because I wanted a slower car. There is quite a difference or I wouldn't have spent the 20k extra!!!

  • awesome car the is 350 !! why does lexus not sell this in europe?

  • @alexrowland thank you alex, that's exactly what i was trying to say. But you know i was trying to explain it, thinking this kid knew shit about real cars and not the ones he owns in GTA.

perfect example is look at the veyron, that car does 0-60 in 2.9 the the jaguar xj220 does it in 3.5 @ half the HP its a V6 TT vs W16. Meaning that for 2 seconds those cars are clost to each other until 180MPH when the Jags V6 starts to run out of steam and the W16 keeps going.

  • @gtdrummerdude I think all he's trying to say is that a car can only put down so much of it's power under a certain speed, so as long as their within 100 hp or so, you're not going to see a huge difference until higher speeds. Think about it like this: a car with 2000 hp vs a car with 300 hp isn't going to make any real gains until 40-50+ because there's just no way to use the extra 1700 hp until then. Tires rubbing on pavement isn't exactly the most efficient method to transfer power.

  • Rerace on the 1/4.

  • @gtdrummerdude Ok Dude, why don't you slow down and read very very slowly. I wasn't listing v6 cars with 400+ anywhere in that comment. If you have to sit there and ask me what does the cylinder count have to do with performance then you been playing waaaaay too much GT5. I love how you say your v8 reeled in a 330 v6 but your still in this limbo mind set. LOL your car is a v8 with 310?? what the fuck? the hell are you driving? Dude read what you just said to me and read the point im making. lol
