  • I've read the entire Bible when I was a child, so the Bible is a book ... some things in that book are true some not, some things in that book are helpful some not.

I've read the Suttras of Buddha and they're more helpful than the Bible, I've read the Tao Te Ching of Lao Tzu and is more helpful than the Bible, I've read Confucious and is more helpful than the Bible, I'VE BEEN LIVING MY LIFE WITH JOY AND PEACE AND IS MORE HELPFUL THAN ANY BOOK.

Being alive, that's the biggest miracle.

  • In conclusion, the modern Bible was written by man. People who thought they should have a say in the way they are descendants should think and live. A type of control method. A type of ethnocentricity born from the cannon. What if these ancient texts were included? We would have a different world view. Perhaps we would be a more peaceful civilzation... Time will tell.

  • @SpincterManBubba Words of wizdom Bub & i always say "why would God need to write something down for ppl to remembre?"

Only the "Demiurg" or creator god, who can only ever be semi devine because "he" is immersed in the filth of matter & time, would take notes & leave instructions for the "priests" to enforce his law. God communicates with each of us individually from with in not from without via man !

  • Always knew the bible was a collection of selected stories. Well, not always. When I got old enough to understand religion, I saw how it was and left my faith behind me. Never knew so much about the bible as I did after I left religion though, which is quite ironic. As any kid who grew up in a very christian family, I had bible studies and all that jazz but only knew the bible through the christian filter. As an atheist I can read what's really there. Christians can't do that.

  • Great videos. so the conclusion is obvious, the bible is not a completed book, but a book containing only a bit of the whole story. And all these years, i thought the bible was everything, instead it's just a series of stories selected by some men probably to meet what they wanted or expectations partly to rob. Come to think of it, if all these accounts were included, we could have had a different perspective of what Christianity is, and it's gradually changing in mine.

  • Jesus' followers were uneducated. They didn't write anything. Everything in the Bible, both old and new testaments, is nowhere near correct. Anyone that would believe it is a work of God is a fool. A fool fooled by Satan himself. The negative forces have had the bible re-written several times. Each time was to dilute it even more. There is far more truth in the Sumerian tablets than the Bible ever contained.

  • I have a suspicion as well as others, that Christian Archaeologists are afraid what is out there, and what it could do to chiristianity, what i would like to see,is for some day that some one in the far east to find a book, that bring's peace to the far east, that would be nice, something that does not conflict with the Bible, the Quran,or the hebrew bible, but there are alot fo people out there, who would not want that,or would be afraid of it,there are people who are nervous of unfound scrolls.

  • In that case, everything goes through men. be it gd or bad.

  • But it IS the word of God through man . . . God is not some ' old man ' up there in the sky . . . that would tell us what is the right and wrong thing to do from a mouth . . . In other words this is not discounting a positive way to live with others . . . Yes , religions have their downsides but they are also give great ideas on how to live with one another on this planet . . . It's definately subjective and I'm not a one to debate . . .

  • Contre-passo! Like the simoniacs who were buried upside down and told to "Keep guard over your ill-gotten loot."

  • I disagree. The videos only means to show the books excluded from the canon, what they contain, and why they were excluded. It does not deny the authority of the church who decided the canon nor does it say that canonical books are uninspired.

I do not see how you have arrived to your conclusion.
