I used to have a recording of this performance! Albeit transferred to LP, not the original 78. But it's so cool to have this connection to history in sound. This is the first time I've heard this for a while - what strikes me here is Goodman's singing tone. And Bartok and Szegeti are marvelous, of course.

@TheUsuarioyo I really enjoyed it because no one understand better this music than Bela Bartok, he´s the composser and all the universe of sounds that was ins his head he can do with his hands and explain to the other musicians the great Szigeti, and the wonderful Goodman,,, I can´t believe that I listened this..

Thank you VERY much for posting this!!!! I have never actually listened to this recording, though I have come across it from time to time on my many forays through record stores over the years. PHENOMENAL performance - but I'm not surprised by that, given the musical talent and the mutual respect and teamwork shown here!!!!
