haha Great video man! I like to turn my cel phone off in the air though lol
-
I love your plane ! Badass looking for sure !
-
I love the approach. The fanfare in the music, a Luftwaffe paint scheme, and a fantastic airplane all represent the accomplishment of your build. Well done and happy flying! I hope to begin the construction of my 8 soon!

Well, I don't mind the paint scheme (except it'll be harder for the CAP to find you if you go down), but I think the choic of "Deutschland Uber Alles" for the soundtrack is hilarious.
-
Now all you have to do is secure some 20mm's and a dive siren, lol.

Killer paint job for a RV8... some inspiration right there.

It's amazing how a paint job can make even a RV-8 look sinister. I liked the control tower RT on my left stereo speaker. As for the music.Panzer Lied? Gott in himmel. I know RVs are tough little aeroplanes, but really.

@1946cub Those are kind words, looking forward to it all.
Hey 1946cub, are you German?

@FantasticBob7000 Nope just have always liked the ME-109 and Fw190. They are the most interesting paint jobs and since everyone else paints their RV-8's like P-51's I thought it would be fun to have someone to dogfight with.

@1946cub I agree the P-51's been overdone. I'm thinking something Cub Yellowish for my -8, hope to be flying next summer.
You've got a nice plane there Oberleutnant.

@FantasticBob7000 Good luck with your 8. It is such a wonderful plane. I know you're gonna love it! I had to sell mine last year, it went to a great guy who has a good friend with a "p-51" 8 and i'm sure they are chasing each other all over the skies of Mississippi !! The paint job was the reason he bought it. I also think Cub Yellow on an 8 will be Beautiful.

This paint job is from an Fw-190 of the 4th Stab of JG3 the "Ernst Udet" Squadron flown by Willi Maximowitz, June 1944 out of Dreux,France.
