Neftali Feliz, the Texas Rangers top RHP prospect, faced the San Diego Padres on March 18, 2009. I shot this 210 frames per second video at the game. I still have no idea where the velocity comes from...
he has 5 absolutely filthy pitches, he doesn't need that 101 mph fastball to be succesful. Nasty curve, slider, split, changeup. Definitely starters stuff and has the mentality of a workhorse that wants to go 8+innings every start. his p f/x on his fastball is unreal with about 14-16". should be having more hype than joba and def better than joba was when he came up.
Funny thing is is that this video isn't even in slow motion

Nice videos dude. Feliz' delivery is so smooth and effortless. It's amazing how he consistently hits 100.

lol, normal as us having a pepsi...that is true tho, he can really bring it, and he makes it look so easy (which it probly is for him)

A real flamethower clocking his fastball occasionally at 102 miles per hour. His 97,98,00 mph is just as normal as us having a pepsi.

Feliz being a starter sounds great but let's get to the playoffs first. Maybe then they can look at that option.
