iphone and mobile Phone INVENTION

MY INVENTION THAT REVOLUTIONISES iPhone MOBILE PHONES CELL PHONES PDA'S PSP, DS ETC This is the beginning of "MOBILE 2.0" © . U CAN CHARGE WITHOUT WIRES/CABLES ANYWHERE, MAKES THEM MORE USEFULL, CHEAPER, MORE ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY,OBVIATES THE NEED FOR SEPERATE USB DRIVES AND MANY OTHER ADVANTAGES. THIS IS THE SHORT CLIP LONGER CLIPS WILL BE UPLOADED, GET YOURS TODAY!!!

[1] U can charge from any USB port

[2] This standardization also means that you only one type of charger for almost all mobile devices

This has a huge environment and cost saving, consider;

You don't need pay for making packaging and transport all those mobile chargers with every new film, consider the cost to you in money and the environment of a Billion mobile chargers alone per year. We need to have our mobile phone manufactures standardize. If you need a charger you can buy it separately then use it for as many phones as you ever have. (this wont cost more because your mobile phone will be cheaper).

You don't need a charger for every new mobile phone, use the one for your previous USBM phone one, or your computer.

[3] You don't need a second charger fro traveling overseas or at work or the office or other work/travel place. Dont spend valuable time worrying about if you packed your charger, or finding an adapter or buying another charger overseas.

[4] You don't have to carry around a separate USB drive, that are easily lost, as they get smaller, plus use that memory for you phone, and easily swap to a new phone. note bellow.

[5] Further this will encourage third parties to develop USB devices/drives with integrated functions for you mobile, eg GPS, DigitalTV, a decent MPX lenses, even a small solar panel or decent graphics processor, sound system, or more battery!

[6] You can use the mechanical configuration as a stand so you can have your screen and the front camera facing you or a selected sense. This will become increasingly useful as you want to communicate over mobile video to other people, no more holding in out stretched hands.

[7] The USB drive has a separate battery to the mobile phone so you can charge individually or as a whole unit.

[8] A thinner profile USB can be used, this current version is merely for demonstration purposes, but very thin profile male USB port are standard.

[9] This invention doesn't make the phone any bigger

[10] A Female USB port is also intended to be located in the phone to allow phones to be hard linked together.

[11] A priority port may still be retained by the manufactured either separately or where the usb drive connects to the phone (think however this would be better as a female port as well for standardization)

So lets get the manufactured today, and save money, get better functions, and save our environment from those billions of chargers per year!

hi InvenTorr, just 2 points/questions.

1) Can the USB port hold the weight of a phone/PDA without damaging the socket. My PDA is a lot heavier and larger than your nokia and I expect the same problem would arise with the iPhone too.

2) Sockets and ports on mobile devices have to be small in order to fits components in.

Also, what feedback have you received from mobile companies?

[1] Yes the usb port is mechanically much stronger than the weight (force) exerted by the phone in any position. In fact USB design is made for strength

[2] There is a very thin profile USB male ports available that will fit into the slimmest of devices, and is still very mechanically strong.

you are seriously dreaming, you have an invention that is pretty worthless. so I dont have a usb port, what do i do? buy a usb charger? Point 1 knocked down.

Thats a good question. If you need a usb charger, and the usb is standard, then you don't have to have pay for a new charger every time you buy a new mobile phone. Thus the cost of every mobile phone will be less as they don't need a charger, as you have already have one purchased for your last phone. This gives cost and environmental advantages . Further on charger will do for a whole household over time. Point 1 knocked up !

devices have different power needs,

therefore a GENERIC USB may not be enough to charge certain devices...then what do you do?

Again a good question. Most (>97%) mobile/pda/NDS handheld devices have power needs that can be met by a single power supply, because a device draws the power it needs, that means one charger has this power sufficiency. You can currently buy chargers that have multiple settings. The USBM allows for the power and data needs to be met in one solution. As proof many mobile phone currently come with external usb data cords (which my design avoids) for USB ports, that all also charge the phone.

You call this "bricolage" invention? Patent pending? Ha, ha, ha!!!You, just eliminated the charger and its cable. Everybody knows that a USB connector provides a 5v stabilized DC. You just "married" a Nokia phone with a Sandisk Cruzer. The Sandisk case design is obvious. Also you used a few cm of cable and some electrical contacts, in order to have 5v DC from laptop's USB to the charger connector on the phone, through Sandisk Cruzer. Your only "invention" is the back cover on Nokia...
